Barnt Green Squash & Racketball Club

Barnt Green Sports Club has two good quality indoor squash courts with a viewing gallery looking down on the play. These courts are also used for Racketball and circuit training. The squash section has just been awarded the "GOLD CLUB" squash award by England Squash and run a successful "Mini Squash" programme for junior players.

We have very successful Men's and Ladies teams that play in the Worcester League, Midland league and Warwickshire league boasting many wins to their credit. Men's 1st team play Division 1 Men's 2nds play Division 2 and Men's 3rds play Division 4 in the Worcester League. Two Men's teams also enter the Midlands Summer League. The Ladies team topped the Worcester League and also entered the Warwickshire Winter & Summer Leagues Division 1. The squash under 13's and Under 19's Junior teams play in the Worcester Junior League. We also enter England National Club teams with a Men's Team, Ladies over 35's and a "non-county players team" so their is something for all players to have a go at.

Thursdays host the junior mini squash coaching from 3.30pm to 4.15pm. Junior beginners play 4.40pm to 5.20pm. Junior intermediate sessions are 5.20pm to 6pm. More junior coaching is available Saturday mornings 10.30am to 12pm for only £1. Squash club members also organise an internal ladder and inter-club tournaments throughout the year culminating in some great social nights and entertaining dinner dances too. Friday nights from 6.30pm host circuit training at a small charge for those wishing to keep fit and meet new members for a drink at the bar afterwards.
