The ICT 2013 Junior Tournament on the 4th-7th April.

Barnt Green were represented by players in both the Worcestershire and Warwickshire teams.
Kirsty Gledhill and Dan Horton for Worcs and Grace Taylor and Will Kitching for Warks. 
Worcs lost out on some very close games and eventually finished 29th.  
Grace and Will only lost 1st match each before the last round to put Warks into the 1-4 play offs. 
These teams proved a bit too strong and Warks finished 4th, Bucks the eventual winners in a 
very close match with Yorkshire.

Barnt Green Sports Club has had great success in the Worcestershire Under 11, 13 and 15 county tournaments last weekend. Representatives from Team Barnt Green junior club achieved winners trophies in 7 disciplines and runner up trophies in a further 2 events.

Beth Hambling, aged 10 started the winning streak by winning both the U11 singles and doubles events. She then added to her success by going on to win both U13 events as well with another junior club member Hannah Pugh. In the boys U13 tournament, Warwick Browne took the boys singles title over fellow club member Evan Lewis in a nail biting 24-22 game. Evan, with partner Harry Ashton managed to take revenge in the doubles event beating Warwick and his partner.

The U15 event also featured success for Barnt Green with Kayleigh Smith winning the doubles event and just losing out to fellow club member Megan Quek. Miles Starks also reached the final of the doubles event against team mate Kush.
