Barnt Green Badminton Club

Barnt Green Sports Club has a purpose built badminton hall with two courts having dark walls and non-glare lighting so you can always see the shuttle, and a special sprung floor made from Canadian maple that is easy on the players feet and legs helping to absorb the shock. Barnt Green's badminton courts are the preferred courts for the Worcestershire Badminton League.

The badminton currently have a Premier Men's team, Premier Ladies team and a Premier Mixed team that play in the Worcestershire Premiership Badminton League from September to April. The Premier Ladies team being extremely successful having won the league for over 12 years running. Barnt Green Badminton were successful in 5 divisions, including winning the Premier League for Ladies at Worcestershire Badminton League presentation evening

Tuesday nights host a social club night for intermediate players to meet new members and improve their game. Thursday nights host a social club night for all levels, including beginners and those new to the sport. Wednesday nights are reserved for county and more conpetitive players. Saturday mornings are reserved for junior badminton players with group coaching, fun and games from 11am to 1pm. The juniors can further their badminton skills on Saturday afternoons with more more coaching available from 1pm to 4pm depending on age and ability
